Mrs. Smith Class Learn Life Lessons from Jackie Robinson

Students in Mrs. Smith’s class are learning about Jackie Robinson as a role model and the qualities he embodied.  They read about his life, created posters about different challenges he faced and as a group came up with powerful words that described his character. Mrs. Smith is also reading the book Jackie's Nine to the class. As a follow up, each child will choose a word that is meaningful to them and write about it.
