Honoring Veterans Day

Students in Mrs. Arroyo and Mrs. Defeo's class conducted interviews of Veterans and Active Duty Service members from each branch of the Armed Services.  Participants included, Dr. Brimstein (Airforce), Dr. Christie (Navy), Mr. Arroyo (Army), Chief Petty Officer Harling (Coast Guard, and Mr. D'Agostino (Marines).  Each participant was asked questions by students who became the expert on each branch of the service.  Student experts then shared what they learned with their classmates. All that participated were honored to be a part of the experience.  We want to especially thank Mrs. Arroyo's brother, Chief Petty Officer Harling who is still on active duty stationed in Alaska.  Chief Petty Officer Harling Skyped in from his duty station.  Enjoy the video below.
