Third grade students in Ms. Mohr's class celebrated Johnny Appleseed's birthday. Students were scientists and used their senses to observe the outside and inside of their apples .
Students cut their apples into equal parts and touched upon fractions. The class
then made their own applesauce. The applesauce got a lot of thumbs up! Tomorrow
they are finishing the writing component of the lesson.
