Mrs. Marone Integrates Google Classroom Into Library Media Center.

Mrs. Marone, who is a Google Certified Educator integrates Google Classroom into the Library Media Center.  The students in fifth grade logged onto their Google accounts and then joined the library Google Classroom where were able to access a collaborative document. The students quickly learned the benefit of real time collaboration on documents because they could each create a piece of the whole. Since all of the students had editing access to one document, they also learned how important it was to be respectful of each other’s work. Understanding how Google Docs works to collaborate opens the door to inquiry based learning and student collaboration.
