Utilizing Technology in Social Studies and Building our Literacy Library
Mrs. VanTronk, Mrs. Castoro, Mrs.
Orlando, and Mrs. Castranova's classes are incorporating technology into our
informative and formative assessments in Social Studies. The students are
completing an interactive continents and oceans assessment which not only
provides instant feedback, but allows or differentiation within the
assessment.
Also, students are choosing leveled
books based on their interests from our literacy library. The students
will then be broken up into literature groups, to allow for the opportunity to
discuss the book that they have chosen with other students that may share the
same interests.
